Available Holland Lops
Welcome to our current Holland Lop availability! All our rabbits are lovingly raised and handled from birth to ensure friendly, healthy pets.
Understanding Our Rabbits
-
Doe: A female rabbit.
-
Buck: A male rabbit.
Rabbits can be spayed or neutered safely from about 4–6 months old (sometimes earlier, depending on size and breed). Doing it before puberty usually gives the best health and behavior outcomes.
Some of our Holland Lops may have unique features that make them stand out:
VM Mark (Vienna Mark)
-
What it is: A small white marking on the forehead, nose, or other areas of the body.
-
Why it matters: This is a result of the Vienna gene, which can also cause blue eyes. The VM mark is purely cosmetic—it doesn’t affect health or temperament.
-
Breeding note: Rabbits with VM marks can pass the gene to offspring, sometimes resulting in blue-eyed kits or white markings.
Blue Eyes
-
Cause: Usually linked to the Vienna gene (VM).
-
Appearance: Bright, striking blue eyes that stand out against the rabbit’s fur.
-
Care: No special care is needed; blue-eyed rabbits are just as healthy as brown-eyed rabbits.
💡 Tip for buyers: VM marks and blue eyes make rabbits visually unique, but they don’t change personality or health.
